Load one file per attempt
Keep the comparison inside one outing. FieldCue can play imported audio from browser storage on the current device without uploading or transcribing it.
Cold approach recording review · three-rep workflow
Review three attempts from the same outing, mark the exact moments you can hear, and require one behavior to repeat before turning it into a coaching cue.
A contact exchange, rejection, or short interaction is context. It does not prove why the outcome happened. Use the audio to preserve your words, pauses, pacing, and sequence, then keep uncertainty explicit.
The 20-minute review
Keep the comparison inside one outing. FieldCue can play imported audio from browser storage on the current device without uploading or transcribing it.
Write a timestamp and the sequence you can hear: answer, pause, reflection, question, topic change, close, or exit.
Choose the closest observable label. Do not turn tone, outcome, or a short reply into a claim about another person's motive.
Call it a pattern only when the same behavior appears in at least two attempts. Then write one small cue the next outing can test.
Worked listening matrix
| Attempt | Exact evidence | Closest behavior |
|---|---|---|
| 01 · 00:18 | A new question begins immediately after the first answer. | Question stacking |
| 02 · 00:31 | A detail is reflected before the next question. | Balanced pacing |
| 03 · 00:22 | Two questions follow without an observation in between. | Question stacking |
The recording supports the sequence. It does not prove that the sequence caused any one outcome.
Where this fits
Adjacent products publicly cover rigorous approach logs with voice notes, AI voice roleplay, and coach-led recording analysis. FieldCue is testing a narrower job: compare several real reps and finish with one evidence-linked cue.
Choose the evidence you will repeat
| Capture method | Best evidence | Main trade-off |
|---|---|---|
| Full local recording | Exact wording, sequence, pauses, and pacing. | Captures another voice and carries higher permission, legal, privacy, and review friction. |
| 60-second self-recap | Your immediate memory of facts and your behavior. | Fast and private, but selective memory can distort details. |
| Outcome counts only | Action volume and downstream results. | Cannot show which behavior repeated or what to test next. |
Recording review FAQ
Start with response gaps, question stacking, missed details, pace changes, how you stated intent, and whether your exit was clean. Mark the timestamp before adding an interpretation.
Use at least three from one outing. Require the same behavior in two or more attempts before treating it as a pattern.
Audio can support claims about words, timing, pace, and sequence. It cannot prove another person's hidden motive or establish that one behavior caused an outcome.
No. The current alpha saves the audio in this site's browser storage on the current device. It does not upload, transcribe, or analyze the file; resetting the outing or clearing site data deletes it.
Working alpha · no account
Import local audio or record short self-recaps, label what you can observe, synthesize only after three saved attempts, and download the evidence and cue as a private local report.
